24/09/06 Ausflug in die Pampa
Um 8.30 Uhr steigen wir mit 10 Mitstreitern in den BushwackerTours Bus um die Weiten des austral. Hinterlands zu begutachten. Wir sind auf dem Weg in den Springbrook National Park. Nach einem 45min Nickerchen im Bus ereichen wir auch schon hochmotiviert unser erstes Ziel:

Über Jahrtausende formte Mutter Erde hier einen wunderschönen Wasserfall. Das besondere ist, dass der Wasserfall irgendwann durchgebrochen ist und jetzt in eine Grotte fällt, die wie eine große Brücke aussieht....
Nach einer kurzen morgendlichen Rast [schrecklicher Tee...] ging es dann weiter zum Springbrook Plateau, von wo man eine sehr schöne Aussicht geniessen kann....
Von dort aus starteten wir dann auch unseren ca. 2 Std. Rundgang durch den Regenwald. Hierbei wurde uns die verschiedenen Pflanzen- und Tierwelt nähergebracht und außerdem führte die Tour an den Twin Falls und Blackfellows Falls vorbei.
Nach einem kleinen Mittagslunch hatten wir die Chance Rainforest Birds zu füttern und Glühwürmchen in einer Grotte zu besichtigen...
Zum Abschluss fuhren wir dann noch auf eine weitere Aussichtsplatform von der man sogar bis nach Byron Bay schauen kann.
Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein sehr interessanter Tag und wir hatten ne Menge Spass....
